ITC Ltd has launched B Natural Coconut Cola, entering India’s competitive beverage market. This new drink combines cola taste with coconut water for refreshment. The company targets the premium, low-sugar segment with this innovation. It contains zero caffeine and zero added sugar, offering a healthier choice. The beverage is now available in key metro cities across India.
Positioned under the proposition ‘Refreshingly Simple’, the new beverage combines coconut water with a carbonated cola base while offering zero caffeine, zero added sugar and just 9 kcal per serve.
The launch signals ITC Foods’ attempt to carve out a new niche in India’s fast-evolving beverage market, where consumers are increasingly gravitating towards drinks that balance indulgence with wellness rather than choosing one over the other.
The company says the product was developed in response to changing consumption patterns, with more consumers looking for beverages that feel lighter and fit more naturally into everyday lifestyles without compromising on taste.
Unlike traditional colas, B Natural Coconut Cola seeks to position itself as a hydrating soft drink by pairing coconut water with the familiar cola experience. The company believes the combination addresses an unmet opportunity in the market, effectively creating a new category within carbonated beverages.
The product was developed in collaboration with ITC’s Product Development and Life Sciences & Technology Centre (LSTC) teams, which focused on preserving the signature cola experience while simplifying the formulation around wellness-focused ingredients.
The drink is being launched in a 250 ml can priced at Rs 60 and will initially be available across leading retail outlets and quick commerce platforms in Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata, Pune and Ahmedabad.
With Coconut Cola, ITC is betting that the next big fizz in India’s beverage market may not come from adding more sugar or caffeine, but by giving one of the world’s most familiar soft drinks an unexpectedly tropical twist.
