Edible oil industry body SEA has elected Angshu Mallick, the executive deputy chairman at AWL Agri Business Ltd, as its new president.
The Solvent Extractors’ Association of India (SEA), in a statement on Thursday, said it has elected Mallick as its new President for 2026–27.
Sanjeev Asthana was the SEA President earlier.
“I look forward to carrying forward the strong legacy of SEA and contributing meaningfully to the industry and the country,” said Mallick on taking over as President.
Mallick has nearly three decades of experience with AWL Agribusiness, which sells edible oils under the ‘Fortune’ brand.
He has been associated with the company since its inception in 1999.
SEA is the largest association of the vegetable oil industry in India. Established in 1963, it has over 700 members spread across the country.
