Quaker has launched a new Protein Granola and expanded its Protein Porridge range with a Chocolate Brownie flavour.
Quaker Protein GranolaQuaker Protein Granola is available in two flavours: Mango & Passionfruit, made with real fruit pieces, and Chocolate Brownie with Salted Caramel, which includes brownie pieces. Each flavour contains 22g and 21g of protein per 100g respectively. The non-HFSS range is made with wholegrain oats and wheat, and is high in fibre.
Meanwhile, Quaker Chocolate Brownie Porridge combines wholegrain oats with a rich chocolate flavour, while delivering 20g of protein per 100g. The brand noted that, with the chocolate brownie flavour popular among consumers under 35, the new non-HFSS flavour offers an opportunity to attract younger shoppers to porridge. It is available in both sachet and pot formats.
Danielle Gipson, Head of Marketing at Quaker, said: “Our new Protein Granola range will appeal to shoppers looking for healthier breakfasts, offering a dual benefit of high protein and high fibre, made with wholesome ingredients. It complements our fast-growing Protein Porridge range, and the addition of a Chocolate Brownie flavour also brings a more indulgent option to the fixture, giving shoppers greater choice and helping retailers drive incremental breakfast sales.”
